Flow of Day 2

Story of Day 2
by Phoenix Ho (Participant) I came to the Art of Hosting training with an open mind, a humble attitude, and an exhausted heart. One expectation I had for myself was to go with the flow. Another expectation I had for the others was kindness so that I could feel safe in this strange environment.
A significant element of the program is the invitation from the hosting team to the participants in co-creating the blocks of the day. Amazingly, the collective potential yields fruitful results in the Meta Harvesting activity, the Collective Story Harvesting and the Open Space activity throughout Day 2. The energy level in the main room rises and declines as the day moves on. Various people have gained their personal lessons while others are still in the wandering zone. There were some disappointments expressed, and there were numerous praises given. Requests have been answered, and feelings were recognized. My exhausted heart was filled with appreciation. It is obvious that the hosting team members has worked extremely hard for this gathering. It is also clear that the participants are committed, respectful, sensitive, and kind to each other. I myself feel peaceful at the end of Day 2, sinking into a dreamless night waiting for Day 3 to evolve. |
